Atomic 55

Leap into my flame and I will let you lick

but not extinguish the wild fury of my past:

occupy, not with the drowning force of inundation,

but the quenching thirst of hydration.

Into love you will not fall, you, will have to dance.

Into your body I will swim and you will watch me stroke

but not evanesce the raging depths of your delight:

devour, not with the destructive hunger of burning,

but the nourishing appetite of light.

Into love I will not fall, I, intend to jump.
