That time was all about shade.
The shadow of my own life,
finally sheltering me.
The fierce light of everyday events
extinguished as I realised
I am only me.
From dawn until dusk,
the relaxing eclipse of the uncontrollable.
My surroundings left me at peace;
Surroundings around which life turns.
